Biography

Karen Nichols is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who received her bachelor's in nursing from Saint Xavier University and master's in nursing from Loyola University. Nichols has extensive experience in emergency room care at Little Company of Mary Hospital, Victory Hospital and Northwestern Hospital.

As a nurse practitioner, she has conducted in-home health assessments for Medicare members and provided care for medically complex patients coming from hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Nichols oversees patients' medical care, rehabilitation and social service needs. Additionally, she has taught graduate nursing students pursuing family nurse practitioner degrees.
